BCAC supports families through all of its research, advocacy, education, and mobilization efforts. In addition, we work directly with families to ensure they have the supports they need to thrive.

If you need help applying for health insurance or other state assistance programs, BCAC has a bilingual (Spanish and English) Community Advocate who can help. Our Community Advocate has helped hundreds of families and individuals determine if they are eligible for and apply for:

• Health insurance through Access Health CT, the CT state health insurance exchange
• HUSKY state health insurance
• SNAP food assistance
• Care4Kids childcare assistance
• TANF cash assistance
